atjazz & fred everything are back together again. their last collaboration dates 2010 on lazy days but the pair have been friends since the late 90s and have collaborated and remixed each other countless times. the beast and the ghost explores the deeper, dubber side of their production. the project was started in derby and finished in san francisco, while atjazz worked on his inside dub from home. this will be featured on the upcoming lazy dubs compilation, out in january.

as a man well versed in the moves of the old-school, fabio monesi launches his albion imprint with the immaculately executed styles of 623, full of sexy 90s synth notes and crisp, pumping beats. washerman brings a more rugged style on his remix of the tune, dropping in some cheeky and thoroughly familiar samples, while the melody wobbles around an amorphous scale. the peephouse finds monesi reaching back to the soothing organ tones of the dx7, with a gentle and piano-driven throw down that stills carries plenty of heft for the floor. rio padice steps up for another remix of 623 and spreads a strange and nervous shape-shifter of a late-night jam, scattering the vocals like confetti and nudging the drums out of joint on a whim.

new leng signing auf togo are the combination of clement cachot-coulom from the fabulous penetrators and sasa crnobrnja, one half of in flagranti. their combined sound is one of vintage recording equipment and instruments coupled with tweaks and blends from the modern studio. this new 12 inch for leng draws on all their knowledge of the past and of the current club scene, effortlessly gliding through deep, warm analogue sounds and tougher studio techniques. both tracks have guitar work that reminisces of a late 60s west coast scene laid over strong bass lines and beats giving the perfect mix of home listening fuzz and a late night dance floor.

tm404 is a new concept from analogue mastermind andreas tilliander aka mokira (kontra-musik, raster-noton, type). tm404 uses a multiple set up of the classic roland machines tb-303, tb-606 and mc-202 to create a mesmerizing acidic techno-drone. tm404 will release a full-length album on kontra-musik in late january and we are very much looking forward. but before that we have another great release to present. kontra-musik 028 is by far our most radical release on so far. this is dance music really pushed the limit. what you are about to hear is the result of morphosis (morphine records) remixing tm404 using his favorite korg machines � the ms20 and the sq10. rabihs own words on the music: quite challenging and not really ordinary dance music. i believe in moving forward with things, with whatever chances and possibilities i have, it is my contribution to this world.
